A Fair(y) Use Tale: Against their will, beloved Disney characters explain the basics of copyright and fair use.

Federal stimulus money is providing US veterans the opportunity to archive, catalog, digitize, and repatriate collections of artifacts excavated in the1930s by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The goal is to get the collections (thousands of artifacts, audio tapes, and and photographs) on the web for public viewing. Aside from rescuing this information from moldy, water-damaged boxes, the yearlong project trains veterans in a new set of job skills and prepares them for finding permanent jobs.

What I was working on last year. Getting the artifacts out of the anthro department basement, finding good homes for them, and using the web to present research on the collections to the public and other interested archaeologists.
